Following the success of the first workshop organized last year at Augsburg University, we are glad to announce the 2nd Grandmaster PhD Workshop in Physics. This year the workshop will be held at Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 6 to 11 of September.
The workshop aims at providing a forum for PhD students to present their best results for a scientific community, yet in a colloquial atmosphere. PhD and young postdoc participants can either contribute with oral (25 minutes + 5 minutes for discussions) or poster presentations. There is no registration fee for the participants.
The highlight of the workshop will be a one-day-session of plenary talks about the fundamental aspects and potential applications of skyrmions. Plenary talks will be held by distinguished scientists including Dr. Ulrich K. Roessler, Prof. Achim Rosch and Prof. Roland Wiesendanger.
