Our cryofree 9 T superconducting magnet has a large room-temperature bore of 76 mm in diameter. This diameter combined with the short bore length of 200 mm gives a large solid angle for samples placed into the center of the
magnet. Therefore, this system is well-suited for any kind of optical spectroscopy measurements. In our laboratory this magnet is coupled to a broadband spectrometer system.
